Don Siegel’s The Killers

The Killers was made for television but the TV companies turned it down because of its supposed amorality and violence.  It became a cult B-film from the start and revolutionised the thriller genre with its humour and directness.  Starring Lee Marvin, John Cassevetes and one Ronald Reagan, with a dramatic score by John Williams.
